Jury Duty

This week was the third time I was summon for a jury duty since 2006 (second time within 7 months). Not a bad experience but I'm yet to be in the final 12 jurors. Got selected twice for the "30" but thats about it. The random selection system ensures public/civil-based trial juries. The people convicting the offenders are purely democratic. "Its JUSTICE SYSTEM wherein the FUNDAMENTAL enforcers of its rule of law are the common people and not their government, be it federal, state, or local governments through the Grand Jury and Trial Jury Systems."

I wonder if the Philippines will learn something from that kind of jury system but such system is the complete opposite of the current Philippine system where justice applies only to the Filipino rich elites.
