X-Men Origins: Cyclops?

Would it be great if they make an X-Men Origins version for Cyclops (Scott Summers)? Ever since the X-Men movie franchise started, despite being the field commander and one of the leading core members of X-Men, he was one of the most underrated and underused characters in the movies.

Anyway, I saw this fan-made movie trailer and it was well made with clips from different Marvel movies ruined by stupid Hollywood directors.

The Philippines: In the Eyes of a Foreigner

Some Filipinos or should I say, most Filipinos will find the video offensive, insulting, and for others, somewhat racist. In my opinion, it’s not at all. Definitely NOT! In fact, it’s the truth, which has been address several times by some Filipinos who opened their eyes and not obsessed or drawn to the beauty queen/showbiz-driven culture of modern Filipinos. There are a lot of Filipinos out there, just like Doctor Jose Rizal, who addressed the defects and social cancers in Filipino society. Yet majority of Filipinos today pretend that they do not understand it or cannot accept the truth that was presented to them. Since Filipinos loves or obsessed about light skins and want to be like the white people then maybe, just maybe they will listen to a white foreigner from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In this video, the Briton talk about the Filipino society and some Filipinos doesn’t want to hear the truth that the Briton presented... BUT the TRUTH is EXTREME to make it moderate is to LIE.

What is Classical Liberalism?

Classical Liberalism was the political philosophy that inspired the founding fathers of the United States and very much present in the founding documents (The Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Federalist Papers, the Anti-Federalist Papers, and the US Constitution) of the Union.

Classical Liberalism, in my opinion, is the basic foundation of modern-day conservatives who believes in protecting individual and natural rights very much unlike the collective rights that modern liberals are trying to impose.

“Harold Camping” Judgment Day/Rapture (May 21, 2011) Prophecies are Hoax!

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:4-5)

Over the years, a man named Harold Camping claimed the coming rapture of true Christians is on May 21, 2011 and a “global-scale” earthquake will take place that very same day. He added that five months later (October 21, 2011), God will destroy the world. His predictions or should we say, prophecies gained a lot of attentions as May 21 gets closer and obviously, he get ridiculed by Christians and by scared atheists.

“Watch therefore; for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 25:13)

Anyway, Harold Camping is a false prophet and a Christian pretender. Many of his kinds (false prophets) are yet to come and they will continue to deceive many, as written in the Bible. Their actions will lead to more people doubting or not believing God’s words (the Bible) and many people will forsake their Christian faith for the shame of their association with Camping’s false prophecies. These false prophets push non-believers away from the truth, and give delusional atheists the ammunition to discredit Christianity and feed lies to hate Christians.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:11)

“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:23-24)

Now, just because the Harold Camping’s prophecies are hoax that doesn’t mean the rapture or the second coming of the Lord will not happen. It will happen but just as the scriptures said, only God knows when it will happen:

“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” (Luke 12:40)

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:35-36)

Rizal: "To The Filipino Youth"

I notice that in my lifetime that Filipino youths are slowly becoming unpatriotic and many lacks the basic knowledge of the Philippine history. Some could only remember the names of José Rizal and Andres Bonifacio. Some even thought that Emilio Aguinaldo being responsible for the murders of Gat Andres Bonifacio in the height of the Philippine Revolution and of General Antonio Luna in the height of the Philippine-American War was OK. Many of the modern Filipino youths these days will not be able to recognize those monuments in the parks and streets of Metro Manila. To some extent, others could only recognize the legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao but have no idea what Datu Lapu-Lapu and his men did in the beaches of Mactan or what Rajah Solaiman did in the Pasig River and his kingdom in Manila or what General Gregorio del Pilar did in Tirad Pass or what Private Tomas Claudio did in the battlefields of France or what the Filipinos had endured in the dark days of the Second World War or what the PEFTOK soldiers did in the Yultong River and the Eerie Hills.

Rizal once dedicated one of his poems to the Filipino youths, not only for the youths of his time or the generation after them but to all Filipino youths of the past, present and for future. Rizal wants to remind our young and future leaders that they are the future of the fatherland. Filipino youths these days seems not live up to what Rizal wanted them to be. Regardless, the youths of today are still the future of the fatherland but not the ideal youths that Rizal had hope.

Anyway, I'm going to post here Rizal's poem "To the Filipino Youth" (Spanish and English Version). In 1879, Rizal wrote that poem at the age of 18 in a literary contest, whom he won first prize. He also talks about a Filipino identity (before Rizal or even back in his days, only refers to the Philippine-born Spaniards) separate from the mother country while acknowledging Spain's contribution to that identity.

Here's the Poem:

“A La Juventud Filipina”
(Spanish Version/Original Version)

Alza su tersa frente,
Juventud Filipina, en este dia!
Luce resplandeciente
Tu rica gallardia,
Bella esperanza de la Patria Mia!

Vuela, genio grandioso,
Y les infunde noble pensamiento,
Que lance vigoroso,
Mas rapido que el viento,
Su mente virgen al glorioso asiento.

Baja con la luz grata
De las artes y ciencias a la arena,
Juventud, y desata
La pesada cadena
Que tu genio poetico encadena.

Ve que en la ardiente zona
Do moraron las sombras, el hispano
Esplendente corona,
Con pia sabia mano,
Ofrece al hijo de este suelo indiano.

Tu, que buscando subes,
En alas de tu rica fantasia,
Del Olimpo en las nubes
Tiernisima poesia
Mas sabrosa que nectar y ambrosia.

Tu, de celeste acento,
Melodioso rival Filomena,

Dia, dia felice,
Filipinas gentil, para tu suelo!
Al Potente bendice
Que con amante anhelo
La ventura te envia y el consuelo.

“To the Filipino Youth”
(English version)

Unfold, oh timid flower
!Lift up your radiant brow,
This day, Youth of my native strand !
Your abounding talents show
Resplendently and grand,
Fair hope of my Motherland !

Soar high, oh genius great,
And with noble thoughts fill their mind;
The honor’s glorious seat,
May their virgin mind fly and find
More rapidly than the wind.

Descend with the pleasing light
Of the arts and sciences to the plain,
Oh Youth, and break forthright
The links of the heavy chain
That your poetic genius enchain.

See that in the ardent zone,
The Spaniard, where shadows stand,
Doth offer a shining crown,
With wise and merciful hand
To the son of this Indian land.

You, who heavenward rise
On wings of your rich fantasy,
Seek in the Olympian skies
The tenderest poesy,
More sweet than divine honey;

You of heavenly harmony,
On a calm unperturbed night,
Philomel’s match in melody,
That in varied symphony
Dissipate man’s sorrow’s blight;

You at th’ impulse of your mind
The hard rock animate
And your mind with great pow’r consigned
Transformed into immortal state
The pure mem’ry of genius great;

And you, who with magic brush
On canvas plain capture
The varied charm of Phoebus,
Loved by the divine Apelles,
And the mantle of Nature;

Run ! For genius’ sacred flame
Awaits the artist’s crowning
Spreading far and wide the fame
Throughout the sphere proclaiming
With trumpet the mortal’s name

Oh, joyful, joyful day,
The Almighty blessed be
Who, with loving eagerness
Sends you luck and happiness

Oppose the RH Bill...

The most debated and talked about issue in the Philippines right now, other than the lack of the direction of the person sitting in Malacanang, is the Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill). It’s a anti-celibacy bill advocated by bunch of horndogs, whores, sluts, prostitutes, perverts, and adulterers.

This debate is not “people vs. the Church” that the media or the advocators trying to portray. It’s Filipinos vs. Filipinos.

Anyway, RH Bill violates individual and natural rights of Filipino women because it forces them to follow the bill even if they don’t agree about its content.

Abortion is the most debated term in the said bill. Though, the bill did emphasize that abortion is illegal but it paves the way for a future legal abortion law. You know why?

RH Bill is an anti-celibacy bill. A baby-killing bill disguise as “women’s right to control her body”, “freedom of choice”, “family planning”, blah blah blah blah or should we say, a woman’s right to have sex with strangers who she doesn’t want to have baby with. And of course, without a legal abortion law then what’s the use for the RH Bill if the fruit of their desires cannot be eliminated. Just as I pointed at out, at the beginning, RH Bill is advocated by a bunch of horndogs, whores, sluts, prostitutes, perverts, and adulterers, and it will pave a way for those baby killers to  advocate for a legal abortion law in the future.

Population Management

RH Bill also serves as a population control bill because some people believe in overpopulation. Retards who failed to see how empty and underdeveloped the provinces are. That’s not overpopulation but rather underdeveloped. Overpopulation only exist in urbanize areas particularly, metropolitan cities and creating coercive law will not solve such problem. Governmental Population Management is a violation of individual rights. We can’t have a government that will manage or control the country’s population with so much power and responsibility they are capable of disguising poisons as vaccines or food. Sounds ridiculous but with greedy elites refusing to share their access and control of our natural resources, its possible.

The government’s purpose is to protect individual rights not to force the people collective rights. Rights does not come from government, the people elect and form their governments to protect and preserve their individual and natural rights NOT to create a law that forces them to be.

Laxius Power Trilogy Game

If you love old school-type games then I recommend Laxius Power trilogy. It is a role-playing game (RPG) about an adventurer and his companions seeking fame and fortune. Along the way, meet several characters from friendly travelers to damsels in distress, from petty thieves to evil creatures. Don’t mind the graphic or the quality what matters is the game itself and the story that goes along with it.

The game requires patience and understanding. If you can try, read some spoilers in case you miss out some special items, rare weapons, or even a character that might help you later on or become one of your companions and help you in your journey.

Laxius Power is a three-part game and the storyline is sort of fantasy adventure genre. Each playable character, just like in other games, must earn some fighting experiences before advancing to the next level. You must ensure that your playable characters reach the maximum level of their skills before advancing to the next game. Laxius Power I is the beginning of their journey and Laxius Power II is the main characters separation in pursue to advance and train individually. Laxius Power III is much bigger and the hardest part simply because it’s the conclusion.

Now, in order for you to be acquainted with the game, you must try to check out the Laxius Game Forum and there other similar types of games that you might like to try as well.

You don’t have to join the discussion but if you feel like it or if you need help… Go for it… You only need to read the posts and the comments to find a lot of helpful tips and guides that will help you through.

Laxius Power I
Download Link (by ShadowBlade): Laxius Power I (alternative link)

- Do not select the “Easy Mode” because you won’t be able to finish the entire game. I made that mistake the first time I tried the game and its kinda discouraging after I found out that I’m suppose to select the normal or hard mode to finish this game.
- The link here provided includes the LP1 installation file and two add-on files

How to add the add-on files (by Inelukee):

1) Make a new folder within your LP1 folder or some other place you'd like. Name it Add-ons.
2) Then make 2 more inside. 1 for the xmas_addon, and one for Battle_in_Lazandra.
3) Extract the xmas_addon to the folder you just made for it.
4) Install Battle_in_Lazandra into its folder.
5) Copy all files from the xmas_addon folder into the main game directory. - Yes, you want to overwrite.
6) Next, copy these 3 files from Battle_in_Lazandra into the main game directory.
-- Map0021.ont - Map0447.ont - RPG_RT.set - yes, you want to overwrite.
7) Enjoy

That's right. Do NOT install the RPG_RT.lxb file from the library add-on. It causes a bug with the Chaos room. The .lxb file from the Orb add-on is compatible with the Library.

Besides the obvious, these patches also change the permissions on weapons.
Most notably, Random can wield several Rapiers that were formerly only for Sarah and Wendala.

Here's a list of the maps modified in both add-ons:

Map0021 ---Yveen's Pendant room
Map0196 ---Sage's Tower first floor
Map0201 ---Sage's Room
Map0258 ---Yveen's Temple in Rillia
Map0289 ---Leanda's Room in fairy town
Map0305 ---Yveen's Temple in Upper West
Map0339 ---Adventurers counter
Map0378 ---Sage's Tower entry
Map0447 ---Top floor of Lazandra's Library
Map0455 ---Sage's Tower chaos floor
Map0458 ---Sage's Tower lab

Laxius Power II

Download Link (by ShadowBlade): Laxius Power II (alternative link)

- The following instructions are for the people who have problems with the introduction sequence loading too slowly. Otherwise, continue with the game.

1) Follow this link
2) Click on "Download" to download the fix (Map0649.lmu)
3) Once you've downloaded Map0649.lmu, put it in your Laxius Power II folder (overwrite the existing file).
4) Start the game! The intro will look slightly less pretty, but it should load much faster.

Laxius Power III

Download Link (by ShadowBlade): Laxius Power III (alternative link 1) (alternative link 2)

- Just like LP1, the link provided also includes the patches/add-ons,

How to patch:
(from Patojonas and Inelukee)
If you already started your game DO NOT overwrite the existing Map0103.lmu map from Sedoi's patch or you'll miss the items you are supposed to get.

I believe this happens because it checks your LP2 score, and if you had an high enough one it won't give you the items because you already got them when importing. If you decide to overwrite it and your score in LP2 wasn't that great or you didn't got the items there, make a copy of your save file BEFORE taking the 8 kids back to check if you get the 3 items or not. If you didn't, just replace the file you have by the one in Sedoi's patch.

There shouldn't be problems with people that start a new game will both patches already applied, but take care about this one issue, the right thing should be making a backup before restoring the kids.

#1 Problem detected: Do not install Map0455.lmu after entering the HQ, it is useless and will mess up the evolution of the HQ itself. Also, if you aren't importing there is no need to install this map either unless you don't get the teleport link to the entrance.

One more thing, ALWAYS MAKE A COPY of your game files before you proceed in installing the add-ons or patches. In case, the game crash as a result of improper installation.

Anyway, enjoy the game and always check out the forum for guides and instructions.

The Laxius Saga Chronology:
  • 3 Stars of Destiny (aka Laxius Power 0): 2009*
  • Laxius Power I: 2001
  • Laxius Power II: 2004

  • Laxius Force (aka Laxius Power IV): 2008*
  • Laxius Force II (aka Laxius Power V): 2009*
  • Laxius Force III (aka Laxius Power VI): 2010*
[*] Commercial games..

This is the very game that made me into an RPG-mad gamer. If I haven't been through the Laxius Power trilogy, I will probably had a hard time playing Fable and the Elder Scrolls.

- You can now download the whole Laxius Power Trilogy in One Single Archives
- Found this new game that is quite similar to Laxius Power but it's a little bit smutty (R18) for some people. It's called "Ouroboros" and you can download the game at Last Sovereign.

"Don't You Know You're Beautiful" by Seabird

"Don't You Know You're Beautiful"
by Seabird

Don't you remember
You were happy when you were younger
Things were so simple yeah
'Til the day you walked out on your mother
But now you blame yourself
Because you're by yourself
You feel like it's not gonna to change
You're crying on the floor cause you can take no more
Looking for a way to escape

And all this time saying you were fine
And everyone still to blame
Well there you are
You and your broken heart
It's written all over your face

Don't you know
Don't you know that you're beautiful yeah

I see you laughing
But I know inside that you're crying
Just tell me what happened when things went wrong
We'll try to make sense of it all
Please don't blame yourself
Cause you're not by yourself
I've been right here all along
Don't have to be alone
Because you've always know
Wherever your heart is my home

And all this time
Saying you were fine
And everyone still to blame
Well there you are
You and your broken heart
It's written all over you're face

Don't you know don't you know that you're beautiful

Can't you see what you mean to me
Can't you see what you mean to

When you are worried - Matthew 6:19-34

Matthew 6: 19-34 (The Bible, King James Version)

[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

[20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

[21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

[22] The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

[23] But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

[26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

[27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

[28] And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

[29] And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

[30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

[31] Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

[32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

[34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
